PANCHAYATH DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (PDO) KPSC


KPSC conduct PDO exams every year, here I will provide complete details about the examination, syllabus, selection procedure, salary , educational qualification etc ..

so prepare well and get ready for PDO exam

AGE LIMIT:- 
 As per above rules candidates must have attained the age of 18 years and not attained the age of 40 years in case of a person belonging to the Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes or Cat-I, and 38 years in the case of other category and 35 in the case of General Merit Candidates, on the last date fixed for the receipt of Applications.

Qualification:- 
 As per this rules Candidate is a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent of a recognised University established by law.

METHOD OF SELECTION:-
Candidate should obtained 35% marks in Computer Literacy (qualifying examination). Based on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination and qualified in the Computer Literacy, candidates shall be selected. Candidates who have not qualified in the Computer Literacy shall not be considered. In the Competitive Examination total marks obtained out of 120 marks in Part-II Paper shall be considered

SYLLABUS FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION:- 

The Written Examination shall consist of 5 papers, It shall carry 120 marks. It shall be objective type with multiple choice and 3 hours duration.
a)Paper-I:- i) Computer Literacy (qualifying examination only)

b)Paper-II :-
ii) General Kannada                                                 - 30 marks
iii) General Knowledge                                            - 30 marks
iv) Rural Development and Panchayath Raj              -30 marks
v)General English                                                    -30 marks

b. Indian History and culture, with particular reference to Karnataka
c. General and Economic Geography of India, with particular reference to
Karnataka

e. every day science and such matters of every day observation


General English
a. English grammar,

e. antonyms,
f. power to understand and comprehend English language and ability to discriminate between correct and incorrect usage,
