Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), henceforth mentioned as KVS, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India invites Online applications from Indian Citizens for recruitment to the Teaching and Miscellaneous Teaching posts for the years 2012-13 and 2013-14.

POST GRADUATE TEACHER (PGT) [GROUP B POST]

TOTAL : 739 posts

Essential Educational Qualifications:

i) Two years integrated Post Graduate M.Sc Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject .

Or

Master Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects :

(English

Hindi or Sanskrit with Hindi as one of the subjects at Graduate level

Physics/Electronics/Applied Physics/Nuclear Physics

Chemistry/Bio Chemistry

Economics/Applied Economics/ Business Economics

Master’s degree in Commerce.

Mathematics/Applied Mathematics

Botany/Zoology/Life Sciences/Bio Sciences/Genetics/Micro-Biology/Bio- Technology/Molecular Bio/Plant Physiology provided they have studied Botany and Zoology at Graduation level

History

Geography )

ii)B.Ed or equivalent degree from recognized University.

iii)Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English media.

Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.

POST GRADUATE TEACHER (Computer Science) :

I) B.E or B.Tech (Computer Science/ IT) from a recognized University or equivalent Degree or Diploma from an institution/ university recognised by the Govt. of India.

or

B.E or B.Tech (any stream) and Post Graduate Diploma in Computers from recognized University

or

M.Sc. (Computer Science)/ MCA or Equivalent from a recognized University

or

B.Sc. (Computer Science) / BCA or Equivalent and Post Graduate degree in subject from a recognized University

or

Post Graduate Diploma in Computer and Post Graduate degree in any subject from a recognized University

or

‘B’ Level from DOEACC and Post Graduate degree in any subject

or

‘C’ Level from ‘DOEACC’ Ministry of Information and Communication Technology and Graduation.

POST GRADUATE TEACHER (Bio-Technology) :

At-least 50% marks in aggregate in any of the following:

Master Degree in Bio-Technology/ Genetics/Microbiology/Life Science/ Bio Science/Bio-Chemistry.

TRAINED GRAGUATE TEACHER (TGT) [GROUP B POST]

Essential Educational Qualifications:

Four years’ integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate;

or

Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/combination of subjects and in aggregate.

Subjects are :

TRAINED GRAGUATE TEACHER English ( English as a subject in all the three years. )

TRAINED GRAGUATE TEACHER Hindi (Hindi as a subject in all the three years. )

TRAINED GRAGUATE TEACHER S.St.( Any two of the following:History, Geography, Economics and Pol. Science of which one must be either History or Geography. )

TRAINED GRAGUATE TEACHER Science ( Botany, Zoology and Chemistry. )

TRAINED GRAGUATE TEACHER Sanskrit ( Sanskrit as a subject in all the three years. )

TRAINED GRAGUATE TEACHER Maths ( Bachelor Degree in Maths with any two of the following subjects: -

Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Statistics )

TRAINED GRAGUATE TEACHER P & HE ( Bachelor Degree in Physical Education or equivalent. )

TRAINED GRAGUATE TEACHER (AE)

1. Five years’ recognized Diploma in Drawing and Painting/ Sculpture/Graphic Art or Equivalent recognized Degree

2.Working knowledge of Hindi & English.

TRAINED GRAGUATE TEACHER (WE) :

i) Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a recognized University.

or

Graduate in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a recognised University.

ii) Working knowledge of Hindi and English.

MISCELLANEOUS TEACHING POST) [GROUP B POST] :

Librarian

Essential:

i. Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science

or

Graduate with one year Diploma in Library Science from a recognised Institution.

ii) Working knowledge of Hindi & English.

Desirable : Knowledge of Computer Applications.

Primary Teacher

Essential:

i) Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with

50% marks or its equivalent;

ii) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the

CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the

purpose.

iii) Competence to teach through Hindi & English media.

PRT (MUSIC)

Essential:

i) Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or

Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent and Bachelor Degree in

Music or equivalent from a recognised University.

ii) Competence to teach through English/Hindi media.

Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.
