Earlier newspapers are Samachar Darpan of Serempore missionaries and Bengal Gejeti of ganga Kishore Bhattacharya. Whether this or that is still a matter of controversy. U have wrote something - Bombay samachar is published in 1822, but the above ones given were published from 1818.
